Bio

Dylan is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, CA. He received his degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and chose to focus his love for baking on breads. After receiving his degree, Dylan moved back to Kansas City and built a wood-fired bread oven and opened his bakery, Hearth Bread Company. He has operated his bakery for five years in Weston, MO, and loves teaching bread and pastry baking any chance he gets. He loves sharing his knowledge, learning from students and sharing their excitement about baking. Dylan is a 10-year food service veteran and has worked at several local restaurants such as Bluestem, The Avalon Cafe, and Hearth Bread Company.
