Bio

Alex Van Hecke got his first opportunity in hospitality at a young age, and his first job where he knew he wanted to pursue a professional career as a chef was at Colony Steakhouse. Ever since then he has been working throughout the greater Kansas City area at locations such as Bravo, Everetts, Ruth’s Chris, and Eddie V’s on the Country Club Plaza. He enjoys the art of cooking and its unlimited possibilities and characteristics. Out of the kitchen he enjoys writing and composing music, hiking, and golf.
